BOM Structure Specialist
Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and update BOMs throughout the product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, and service phases.
- Review engineering change orders (ECOs) and incorporate BOM updates accordingly, ensuring alignment with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams to rationalize part numbers, reduce complexity, and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with manufacturing and production teams to optimize BOMs for efficient production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process enhancement, automation, or integration with other systems.
